A & S Transportation has no boundaries, providing global coverage through an international partner network, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Now A & S Transportation reaches even further! A & S Transportation works with the World Freight Alliance (WFA), an association of independent freight forwarders who offer expanded air, ground, and ocean freight services to more than 200 countries. Members of the World Freight Alliance have established successful operations throughout the world and are experts in their local markets, customs, geography, and language. The World Freight Alliance provides a full range of time-definite air, ground, and ocean freight services, as well as logistics, warehousing, customs brokerage and IT solutions.
It’s easy to ship anywhere in the world with A & S Transportation. Proof of Delivery for all international import and export shipments.
Each international shipment will be assigned a POD code:
“DB” (Delivered to Broker) and the name of the broker receiving the documents; or
“DC” (Delivered or Consignee) and the name of the person who signed for the shipment; or
“DTC” (Direct to Consignee), master air waybill consigned directly to the consignee. Proof of delivery is obtained directly from the airline (usually a company stamp).
The delivery date and time is also entered on the POD to complete the process.
In addition, A & S Transportation provides the following ancillary services:
Completion of documentation for customs clearance, letters of credit, consolidation and direct services sight or time drafts, as well as complete banking services and coordination of NVOCC services.
